Why Norfolk Collegiate

Our family has been a part of the Norfolk Collegiate community for more than seven years. From the very first day, we were, and continue to be, warmly welcomed. Our three children have grown into confident and capable students, thanks to the dedicated, nurturing staff and challenging academic program.
"The fun and unique ways our children are learning is evident in their enthusiastic discussions at home. The broad academic curriculum includes art, music, computer science, Spanish and daily physical education."

Every child can truly find his or her niche. There have been numerous opportunities along the way for our children to explore and excel in extracurricular activities including band, chorus, public speaking, leadership positions, charity work, writing competitions, and language and science clubs.

The school also has a strong team spirit. Our children get so much inspiration going to the upper school to watch school plays or to cheer on our student-athletes at sporting games with their buddies.

Norfolk Collegiate reflects a diverse student population, and the bond between fellow students and the respect they have for each other is a true testament to the caring environment of Norfolk Collegiate. We have an active parent community and there are plenty of opportunities for parents to get involved.

All three of our children are proud “Oaks” and love their school. We are confident that they will be resilient and ready for the real world when they graduate.
