Norfolk Collegiate's annual auction is the school’s largest fundraiser, providing critical support to our school, affecting almost every aspect of our students’ education. It also provides an opportunity for our families, alumni, faculty, staff, donors and community supporters to work together for a great cause—our students!

We've reimagined our annual auction this year! Everything will take place online! You will be able to bid from any mobile device throughout the week.

Auction Night Experiences


We are thrilled to partner with Hungry Event Xperiences to lead these one-of-a-kind virtual wine tasting and pizza making events!

Both events take place on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 6-7 p.m. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today! The deadline to reserve your experiences is Friday, Oct. 2.

WINE 101
Sommelier Erik Segelbaum will lead you through an enjoyable, interactive workshop designed to boost the wine IQ of novices and seasoned aficionados. Segelbaum was named 2019 & 2020 Food and Wine Magazine "Sommelier of the Year" and has worked in the restaurant industry for over 25 years. The Wine Tasting Kit will be delivered to your home and includes 3-4 generous tastings that Segelbaum will take you through.  
Chef Chris Kyler will walk you through making a Detroit-style deep dish pizza from scratch! Chef Kyler was a finalist on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen season 2 and Food Network Star season 10. Deep Dish Pizza Kit will be delivered to your home and includes dry pizza dough ingredients, sauce, toppings, pizza slicer, honey and recipe card. 



From 7-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, join us for a private concert with Lewis McGehee. A prominent force in the Virginia music scene, McGehee's acoustic sound is one that many people flock to around town.  Virtual tickets are $20.  Zoom link will be sent one day prior to event.

  • How will I know if I've won anything?

    At the end of the auction night (8 p.m.), you will receive a text message to prompt you to check out if you have any winnings.
  • What if I forget to check out?

    You will be sent a reminder text following the event. At the end of the next week, the card on file will be charged.
  • When/how will I receive my items that I've won?

    If the item is tangible, you can come to the middle and upper school campus to pick up your items on Sunday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Please remain in your car and drive up to the Scribner Bell tower to be served.  We will coordinate getting the items to your car at that time.

    If the item can be mailed in a regular sized envelope, we will mail that out the following week.
  • What if I can't pick up my items on Sunday, Oct. 18?

    Please reach out to the development office at 757.480.2348 to arrange your pick up.
