"A Christmas Carol" Comes to Collegiate

Mark your calendars to see “A Christmas Carol” on Friday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. or Sunday, Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. on the Hackney Theater stage in the Meredith Center for the Arts.

This family-friendly adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic tale and adapted by Michael Marrone has all the familiar characters we know and love who nimbly bring us through Scrooge's journey of self-reflection and redemption.

Join us as our lower, middle and upper school students bring us a spectacular take of Christmas Eve with Ebenezer Scrooge, everyone's favorite scrooge, and his chance as redemption when his long-dead business partner, Jacob Marley, offers him chance for a new beginning, and a different future.

This student-produced classic is pulling out all the stops. In addition to a festive set, each day guests will be able to enjoy an array of activities before and during the show, as well as enjoy concessions, benefitting Norfolk Collegiate's amazing theater department. The show is open to the public, so please share it with your friends, family and neighbors. The show costs $5 for students and $15 general admission.
