Counselors Pannill Titus and Helen Younce will lead a guided parent book discussion of "The Anxious Generation" by Jonathan Haidt. This book served as our shared faculty and staff read this summer and has informed much of the work we have undertaken as a school this year.
During this conversation, they will explore the book’s themes—including the impacts of technology use and the importance of independence and free play in child and adolescent development. Families will have the opportunity to connect with one another as we discuss how to foster resilience, balance and connection in today’s fast-paced world. The discussion will offer a supportive space for parents to share insights and practical strategies for nurturing confident, healthy young people.
