Upper School Course Information Night

  • At 5:30 p.m., we will have a presentation in the Hackney Theater for students and families interested in learning more about the AP Capstone™ Program from Dr. Kristine Varney, director of instruction, and Amy Robb, English department chair and AP Research teacher.
  • At 6 p.m., we encourage all rising grade 9 students, their families and anyone else interested in an overview of the upper school academic program to join us for a presentation in the Hackney Theater. You'll hear from Scott Kennedy, head of school, and Dr. Varney. After the presentation, families are invited to the Upper School Gymnasium to meet with department chairs and other faculty to discuss the coursework available next year.
  • Beginning at 6 p.m., we invite rising grades 10-12 to join us in the Upper School Gymnasium for our Course Information Night. This part of the evening is a wonderful opportunity for you and your student to meet with department chairs and other faculty to discuss the coursework available next year.
This program is for current rising grade 9 through grade 12 families and is designed to give you an overview of course offerings, how students will request courses for the 2026-27 school year, opportunities in the upper school for students outside of the classroom, and our college counseling program.
