Upper School Course Information Night

  • At 5:30 p.m., we will have a presentation in the Hackney Theater for students and families interested in learning more about the AP Capstone™ Program from Dr. Kristine Varney, director of instruction, and Amy Robb, English department chair and AP Research teacher.
  • At 6 p.m., we encourage all rising grade 9 students, their families and anyone else interested in an overview of the upper school academic program to join us for a presentation in the Hackney Theater. You'll hear from Scott Kennedy, head of school, and Dr. Varney. After the presentation, families are invited to the Watt-Baker Gymnasium to meet with department chairs and other faculty to discuss the coursework available next year.
  • Beginning at 6 p.m., we invite rising grades 10-12 to join us in the Watt-Baker Gymnasium for our Course Information Night. This part of the evening is a wonderful opportunity for you and your student to meet with department chairs and other faculty to discuss the coursework available next year.
This program is for current rising Grade 9 through Grade 12 families and is designed to give you an overview of course offerings, how students will request courses for the 2025-26 school year, opportunities in the upper school for students outside of the classroom, and our college counseling program.
