Students' artwork in General Assembly

Two of Norfolk Collegiate’s middle school students, Emily Skroch ’21 and Christian James ’23, will have their artwork on display along with 22 other K-12 students at the General Assembly in Richmond.

On July 17, 2017, NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton will turn 100 and to commemorate the centennial, NASA Langley is hosting the Centennial Art Contest. Students from around the nation were encouraged to enter designs that asked for imaginations to fly and to find inspiration in the theme, “A storied past, a soaring future.”

In Virginia, 24 students were selected to display their art at the Virginia General Assembly in Richmond. Two out of the 24 students include eighth grader Emily and sixth grader Christian, who will have their artwork on display for the entirety of the current session of the State Legislature in Conference Room 5 West of the General Assembly building.

Please join us in congratulating these two Norfolk Collegiate artists!
