Parents encouraged to attend upcoming Parents' Nights

The first day of the 2015-16 school year is in the books; however, two big events are right around the corner.

Lower School parents are encouraged to join us for our Lower School Parents' Night on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. in the Lower School auditorium. Middle and Upper School Parents' Night will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. in the Watt-Baker Gymnasium.

Parents' Night provides Norfolk Collegiate parents an opportunity to get a glimpse into a day in the life of their children. The evening will kick off with a message from Headmaster Scott Kennedy on all of the exciting happenings for the 2015-16 school year, as well as a brief look into the school's strategic plan.

Following Kennedy's message, parents will have an opportunity to spend quality time with their children's teachers, learning more about classroom routines, schedules, academic goals and expectations. This also is an excellent opportunity to discuss ways in which the school and parents can work together to support our students in making the most of this year.

Since this event is on a school night, parents are encouraged to arrange for a babysitter so bedtime routines remain undisturbed.
