Norfolk Collegiate's "Pretty in Pink Fashion Show" to Benefit Susan G. Komen Foundation

The 14th annual fashion show to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Tidewater Affiliate is this Saturday, Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. at Norfolk Collegiate.

Seniors Brooke Walthall, Sarah L. Smith and Carson McMonagle organized this year’s show — dubbed “Pretty in Pink” — as their senior project.

“I’ve wanted to do the fashion show since the first time I saw it directed four years ago by a good family friend,” Carson recalls. “I remember getting in the car after and saying to my mom, ‘I want to do the fashion show as my senior project,’ and now, here I am! This show is important to me because we all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, and this show helps raise money and awareness for the cause.”

Attendees can look forward to participating in a silent auction and are encouraged to purchase raffle tickets to be entered to win a variety of prizes, gift cards and even an Echo Show!

Raffle tickets are 1 for $5 and 5 for $20, and the suggested ticket price is $10. All donations are appreciated in the form of checks, cash and credit card.
