Collegiate students lend their voices to MOCA exhibit

Hear students from Norfolk Collegiate's Art Foundation class at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)! Students researched, wrote, and recorded the Teen Audio Tours for MOCA’s newest exhibition, Multiplicity.

The exhibit features more than 80 prints by world-renowned modern and contemporary artists and printmakers, and was organized by the Smithsonian American Art Museum with support from the William R. Kenan Jr. Endowment Fund, and the C.F. Foundation.

The Teen Audio Tour is a supporting feature within the exhibit, and offers museum visitors information about the art and artists via iPods. An excellent entry point for students to learn about printmaking, the experience also offered students the opportunity to maneuver through the writing process, from draft to publication, learned in English classes.

To learn more about the exhibit, which is on display until Aug. 17, visit MOCA at 2200 Parks Ave., Virginia Beach, 23451, or visit www.virginiaMOCA.org.
