Collegiate gears up for Homecoming and Fall Fair

Homecoming and Fall Fair brings together Oaks big and small, past and current. Collegiate is thrilled to invite you to be a part of our school tradition and to introduce you to a few new weekend additions on Oct. 23-24, 2015.

Fall Fair Additions

“We’re extremely excited about this year’s Fall Fair,” said Kate Pringle, Annual Fund and special events manager. “With the new additions of the Farmers Market, Touch-a-Truck and Courtyard Chili Cook-off with celebrity chef judge Graham Elliot, there are many opportunities to better engage our students, parents and community friends in the day’s festivities.”

With new additions also remain some Fall Fair favorites, such as the plant and pansies sale, games and concessions. Collegiate will not be short of school pride as our little Acorns burst with excitement with their fall fair options, which range from face painting and snow cones to bounce houses and other activities. The dunk tank and carnival rides await our Middle and Upper School students. The festivities will kick-off with the K-12 pep rally where our Homecoming King and Queen will be announced.

For those parents looking to take advantage of the Play-All-Day passes, T-shirt sales, or those who wish to register as a participant in the chili cook-off or Farmers Market, online ticket sales are up and running, so don’t delay! If you wish to pre-order pansies, please contact Kate Pringle at kpringle@norfolkcollegiate.org.

Our girls’ junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams will take on Christ the King Catholic School on Friday, Oct. 23, and our junior varsity boys’ soccer will take to the new athletic fields against St. Patrick Catholic School followed by varsity girls’ field hockey as they take on St. Margaret’s School.
