Following an extensive search, Norfolk Collegiate is proud to offer our community the top brass in independent and private school dining services with FLIK Independent Dining Services

Their philosophy of "Nourishing A Brighter Future" goes hand-in-hand with our commitment to delivering our students the best nutrition possible.

FLIK will provide our Oaks with:

  • Nutritious meals, prepared from fresh ingredients
  • Support local and sustainable agricultural practices
  • Nutrition education programs
  • On-site management team
  • Menus created exclusively for Norfolk Collegiate by nutrition specialist and corporate executive chef 



FLIK utilizes My School Dining app. Through the app, families can view the lunch menu.


Chef Manager Amarin Reelachart

Joining Norfolk Collegiate with FLIK is Chef Manager Amarin Reelachart.

Reelachart was born and raised in Sriracha, Thailand, and moved to Virginia in 1977. He attended schools in Norfolk and Virginia Beach and graduated from Green Run High School. From there, he attended culinary school in Kaiserslautern, Germany. After culinary school, he worked in local restaurants until he opened and operated his own restaurants including Eurasia Intercontinental Cuisine, Ultra Bistro and Eurasia Café in Virginia Beach.

After 10 years of operation, he closed and worked as a FooBeach for several years. From there, he joined an international retail company and traveled to Ireland where he worked and trained for 5 months.

Reelachart is married and has two sons and one Jack Russell. When not in the kitchen, he enjoys being outdoors and weight lifting.
