The latest game schedule and results are listed below. Norfolk Collegiate teams compete in the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools (TCIS) and the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA).





Miles Edmond finished second and Jaden Bullock third at the VISAA State Tournament in Richmond. Their performances earned them berths in the national tournament this weekend (Feb. 25-26, 2017) at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. 

The swim team took a record 11 swimmers to the VISAA state tournament. For the first time since 2008, a boys relay team (200 Medley Relay consisting of Grant CampionTrafton AddisonKenny Hargrove and Dylan Rowell) qualified for the state tournament. At the state tournament the Girls 200 medley team finished 15. Frances Boyer finished 17 in the 50 Freestyle and Brooke Walthall 17 in the 100 Backstroke for the Oaks.

Congratulations to Jaden Bullock (152 pounds) and Miles Edmond (132 pounds) on becoming TCIS champions in the conference championships at Bishop Sullivan. Monroe Forehand also placed third.  

The girls swimming team finished fourth in the TCIS championships held in Newport News.  




TCIS Champions! The varsity boys’ basketball team won its first TCIS Championship since 2006. Bash Townes was named Tournament MVP. 

All-Conference Awards were given to seniors Adam Grant, K’ Chavis and Bash Townes. In case you missed it, you can view coverage of the games via WAVY News and The Virginian-Pilot.

Senior Shahra Madison was named to the All-Conference girls' basketball team during the girls’ TCIS final.

Congratulations to Chris Beck for becoming a state champion, being named best wrestler in a heavyweight division and wrestler of the year for TCIS. His teammates Chad Bullock and Jacob Roth placed second and Miles Edmond finished fourth. The team finished in sixth place in what has been a terrific season for our wrestlers.

Congratulations to Savannah Hoover, Frances Boyer, Brooke Walthall and Victoria Hargrove for winning the TCIS championship title in the girls' 200 medley relay. 

Senior Bash Townes was featured on WVEC 13 News. Bash is co-captain of the boys' varsity basketball team and the FNV Athlete of the Week.



Congrats to the boys' wrestling team, who returned from Prepslam in Atlanta. There, they finished 13 out of 37 teams that travelled from as far as Massachusetts and Texas.   



Congratulations to our sailing team for finishing third in the weather-affected VISA State Regatta. All-State Individual honors were presented to the following sailors:
  • Co-Ed VISA Skippers:Dreugh Phillips, Darden Purrington, Ellie Maus and Victor Layne;
  • Co-Ed VISA Crews: Sarah E. Smith, Nick Baker and Daniel Vail;
  • VISA Women’s Team: Darden Purrington, Ellie Maus, Sarah E. Smith and Ashley Obermeyer.

Frances Boyer was named to TCIS first-team for field hockey.

Norfolk Collegiate's field hockey team recieved the TCIS Sportsmanship Award.

Bailey Jones was named to the TCIS first-team for volleyball.



Gabrielle Toomy for being selected to the TCIS All Conference 2nd Team for tennis.

Junior midfielder Josh Swartz (first team) and senior defender Chris Beck (second team) were selected to the TCIS All-Conference Teams for soccer.

Congratulations to TCIS All-Conference sailing selectees Ellie Maus, Sarah E. Smith and Nick Baker.

Norfolk Collegiate for winning the 2015 TCIS Sailing Championships at Youth Sailing Virginia at Fort Monroe.  

Seniors Bailey Jones and Faith Rush donated more than $1,000 to Ronald McDonald charities. The money was raised from a volleyball clinic that the two hosted. Read more here.
