Sara Brodsky, Sarah Kurowski and Madison Santos ("The Physics of Cheerleading") and Jarad Dean, Daniel Delaney, Jacob McCormick, Andrew Maynard, Taylor Lain, Robert Finch and Abby Shepler ("Physics Class with Mr. Teddy") will share the 2nd and 3rd place prize money ($400 total). Woody Marshall and Yanni Karangelen ("Music and Physics") will split the $50 honorable mention prize.
The creators of the winning videos, along with their teachers and parents, are invited to an awards luncheon to be held on JMU's campus on Saturday April 16th. The luncheon will be followed by a tour of the department open to any of the students and families.
Each classroom will receive $150 of physics educational materials of their choosing.
