| back | | Spencer Tinkham, Award Winning Carver | | |  The beautiful wood duck carving on the cover of "Carving Magazine" is the work of NCS senior Spencer Tinkham.
This award-winning carving was Best Overall in the Youth Division at last year's Ward World Wildfowl Carving Competition in Ocean City, Maryland. Spencer was seventeen years old when he won award...for the second time. He earned his first world championship title in 2008 when he was just fifteen.
