| back | | Art in the Yard at NCS | | | Art in the Yard’s theme this year is to “Journey into Your Imagination”. Art students have been encouraged to go beyond the traditional interpretations of design to create interesting pieces of work which will provoke your imagination. There will be plenty of hands-on activities to encourage students to journey into their imagination and express personal creativity. Attendees will enjoy the sounds of musical performances while viewing the NCS student art exhibit. In addition, we are pleased to have Carolynn Sleeper, an incredibly talented artist and former art teacher at NCS, showcasing her work.
Art in the Yard is taking place on April 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Classes will meander through the courtyard enjoying an imaginative perspective of the visual arts. We have the pleasure of the fifth grade joining the festivities at the upper and middle school campus and, as always, all parents, alumni and friends of NCS are invited to attend.
