| back | | US Meeting of the Minds | | | Upper School Social Studies Teacher Jane Hedgecock’s global perspectives class attended a medieval banquet in the Alhambra Palace. The class had a “meeting of the minds” involving many of the great individuals in medieval Islamic history. Each student portrayed well-known Islamic individuals and recorded their conversations to later be translated into diary entries. As students circulated the room, they had four specific requirements: a computer-generated name tag, five computer-generated business cards, an object symbolizing their significance in history and creative costumes that reflected the individual they were portraying. | | back | |
