Clubs & Activities
The lower school has many exciting clubs and activities for students.  Throughout the year, yoga classes are offered to the entire lower school.  We are proud of all of our students especially when they participate in the World Class Readers Program, a program which generates both community spirit and educational benefits.  Younger students may enroll in dance classes and learn to play string instruments. In addition, third graders have their own chorus.

Fourth and fifth graders have abundant choices in Math Club, Science Club, Writing Club, Forensics and Intramurals.  Additionally, fifth grade students may participate in producing the Oak Street Newspaper and Grade 5 Honors Science ProgramThe Girls on the Run Club is a special program that encourages preteen girls in these grades to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running.  The Oak Ambassadors Club is for fifth graders and their parents who volunteer to benefit worthwhile causes within our community during three to four organized projects per year.
