All NHS students (grades 10 -12) must perform 25 hours of community service for the entire year. The time frame for this service is June 8, 2011 through May 31, 2012.  All 25 hours may be performed in the summer. Seniors should have all of their hours completed by May 11th, 2012. Additionally, if you are interested in qualifying for a service award, Mrs. Swoope must receive your service hours by May 4th, 2012.  All 9th grade students must submit a copy of their service to Mrs. Swoope if they wish to qualify for any of the NCS Upper School service awards.   To print, please click: Community Service Form  To receive credit, you must include all of the following information: 1. The name of the non-profit organization you worked for 2. The dates you worked 3. The number of hours you worked 4. A brief description of the work you performed (sorted books or served meals) 5. A signature from a member of the organization verifying the work performed
