2011 Summer Assignment for AP Chemistry

It is crucial that you put forth the required effort to complete this assignment. It is imperative that you complete the first three chapters before the first day of school. The last two chapters may be completed as homework during the time we are going over chapters 1,2,& 3 in class. I will not be lecturing on any of these chapters so you must come to class prepared with your questions on each chapter. You may find it helpful to write down your questions as you go through each chapter so you do not forget them before school begins. You need to show your work for each problem. “I did it on my calculator” will not be accepted. I know there will be some topics that may give you difficulty, do your best. Show that you made an attempt. We will address your general questions and any problems from the enclosed assignment during the first few weeks of school. Please understand that the effort you put into this not only impacts you but the pace of the entire class.
