You should complete at least three reading journal entries for Song of Solomon and O, Pioneers! 

THESE JOURNALS WILL BE DUE THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASS in preparation for a test on O, Pioneers! and a short essay on Song of Solomon. You should also complete at least three reading journal entries for one of the choice reading selections, which will be part of your second semester research project. ALL READING JOURNALS FOR YOUR CHOICE SELECTION ARE DUE THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASS.  You will also write a book review on this book when you return to school.

Each reading journal entry should be labeled with the author and title of the work and the chapters covered in that entry. Please arrange each entry in two columns as follows:
